Michael Bolton is continually crossing all barriers – musical and otherwise. Beyond his status as one of the music industry’s most successful singer/songwriters, he has utilized his celebrity to emerge as a voice recognized on another level: that of human rights activist.
In 1993, Michael established the Michael Bolton Foundation which – through local and national charities and the establishment of “safe house” shelters — provides assistance to children and women at risk from the scourge of poverty, as well as from emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.
He’s the honorary chairman of the National Committee To Prevent Child Abuse and National Chairman for This Close For Cancer Research.
