The project of Timber Timbre’s Simon Trottier and Olivier Fairfield, Last Ex came into being when the duo decided to expand an unused score for the horror movie Last Exorcism Part II that Timber Timbre developed in 2012.

The pair began fleshing out these ideas with more instrumentation and textures at Fairfield’s studio, inviting fellow Timber Timbre members Taylor Kirk and Mika Posen to contribute drums, guitar, and strings. The results were Last Ex’s self-titled debut, which Constellation released in October 2014.

Last Ex is available for corporate events, private shows, milestone celebrations (birthday, anniversary), fundraisers, festivals, and more.
