South Carolinian singer/songwriter Keath Mead began playing music in his teens, buying his first bass guitar after watching the Beatles’ A Hard Day’s Night movie for the first time. The Columbia native eventually taught himself to play the guitar, piano, and drums as well, playing in various indie bands throughout his college years. He’d been writing songs for years and although the demos continued to pile up, he’d never fronted his own project until chillwave artist/producer Chaz Bundick (Toro y Moi) persuaded him to come to California and make a solo record. The resulting album, Sunday Dinner, a mix of synth-laden indie pop and sunny, laid-back ’70s rock, was released by Bundick’s Company Records label in February 2015.
Keath Mead is available for corporate events, private shows, milestone celebrations (birthday, anniversary), fundraisers, festivals, and more.
