Demetri Martin is a contributor on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where he presents his “Trendspotting” pieces. He’s also attached to co-star in three films that he’s writing, one for Dreamworks, one for Sony/Jimmy Miller, and one for Thousand Words/Ed Saxon. Demetri be touring this fall in support of his upcoming CD, THESE ARE JOKES, and his one hour special will premiere on Comedy Central in 2007. He has also been featured on The Late Show with David Letterman and at the Aspen, Montreal, Melbourne, and Edinburgh festivals (where he won the Perrier Award). Previously, Martin was a writer for Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and his written work has also appeared in The New York Times.
