At the age of only 17, Carole King wrote the first of over 100 hit singles- “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” by Gerry Goffin and Carole King was recorded by The Shirelles, which went to Number 1. To date, over 400 Carole King compositions have been recorded by over 1000 artists. In 1972, she became the first Female Artist to be awarded 4 GRAMMYs in one year for her timeless album Tapestry, which alone has sold over 25 million copies worldwide. She appeared on the cover of Time Magazine and went on to be honored by many of the most prestigious music business organizations, such as The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and The Songwriters Hall of Fame.
King has won numerous awards and accolades for her vast body of work.
