When iconic British Columbia alternative rockers 54-40 perform unplugged at Showplace Performance Centre on Tuesday, fans can rest assured the band isn’t doing the opposite of Bob Dylan when he went electric at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.

“We love our rocking, don’t get me wrong. That’s not going to stop,” frontman Neil Osborne said from Toronto as the band prepared for a gig in Meaford Wednesday night, the first show in support of La Difference: A History Unplugged.

54-40 Unplugged is available for corporate events, private shows, milestone celebrations (birthday, anniversary), fundraisers, festivals, and more.
