The King Beez have quickly become the “must have” band of the South! Don’t miss your opportunity to party with this group of extremely talented veteran Memphis musicians!

The common thread that connects Beale Street, B.B. King’s Blues Club and The King Beez is that they represent the best of the best. While this common thread unites these three together, the ultimate result is that they create an uncommon experience for those people who prefer to dwell in the world of rhythm and blues. Beale Street is the number one street of blues in the world while B.B. King’s Blues Club is the premier blues club on Beale Street. The missing link that rounds out and perfects and enriches the blues experience for anyone, however, is The King Beez who have been center stage at B.B. King’s. This rhythm and blues group breathes life and breath into the very soul of rhythm and blues for they have captured the essence of this particular genre.

The King Beez was created when the Doctors of Rhythm and Blues, David Bowen, Solomon McDaniel and James Jackson came together in 1991 to form what they hoped would become the standard bearer for rhythm and blues bands in Memphis and beyond. During their search for the most accomplished musicians they could find, they molded a group of eight individuals into a fabulous musical force in the world of rhythm and blues. In the process, they have set the performance bar to a level that all other bands strive to achieve but seldom do. From the beginning, they became the main stay at B.B. King’s and continue to redefine excellence in a rhythm and blues performance on and off Beale Street.
