In the ever-evolving world of dance music, the genre in vogue has a tendency to change even quicker than musicians and critics can agree on a label. The newest of these genres to move to the limelight draws influence from hip-hop, electronic trap production, and Australian stylings akin to Flume and Wave Racer; this new synth-heavy style of production goes by a variety of terms, but generally settles on descriptors including the words ?future? and ?bass.? One of the champions of this new style is the Chicago based duo Louis The Child.

The young duo has gained significant attention from producers worldwide, and most recently has gained a brief glimpse of pop music fame when Jaden and Willow Smith sampled Louis The Child?s remix of Body Gold in their newest EP. Louis The Child was kind enough to share a few words with us about their thoughts on their roots in Chicago, the current state of bass music, and more.

Louis The Child is available for corporate events, private shows, milestone celebrations (birthday, anniversary), fundraisers, festivals, and more.
