You know Academy Award winning actor John C. Reilly: he won for Chicago, and stars in Step Brothers, Walk Hard, Talladega Nights, Boogie Nights & so many more. Reilly has a musical group, John Reilly and Friends, and has released 2 singles out on Third Man Records. Jack White, Reilly’s co-star in Walk Hard, plays on both singles. The first features a Reilly duet with LA songwriter Tom Brosseau on two Delmore Brothers tracks. The second features Reilly covering Ray Price and Dolly Parton/Porter Wagoner tracks with Lavender Diamond’s Becky Stark. Joining John, Becky & Tom for this set of shows are singer/guitarist/ songwriter Dan Bern, bassist Sebastian Steinberg (Fiona Apple, Beth Orton, ex-Soul Coughing), and singer/guitarist/banjoist Willie Watson (original member Old Crow Medicine Show).
