RICHARD SMITH – A multi-award winning composer, songwriter/producer, THE CELEBRITY ALLSTARS creator Richard Smith has won two Emmys, a national Addie award, a Pinnicle award, a Cindy award by the Association of Visual Communications and the recipient of a Silver medal for the highly coveted New York and Advertising Festival. As a songwriter, he’s been nominated for a cable Ace award for Best Original song alongside names like Kenny Loggins and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Richard also earned a New York Film Festival Award for Best Original Song and Lyrics. Prior to entering the world of music production, Richard weathered several world tours as lead guitarist for EARTH, WIND AND FIRE, KENNY LOGGINS, and AIR SUPPLY, as well as international acts like EMMANUEL and French Pop Star MICHAEL POLNAREFF.

Brent Carter – Brent is one of America’s foremost vocalists. His voice wraps around the audience’s collective heart making it virtually impossible to leave without being touched. Early on he landed the role of Gabriel in Broadway’s SHENANDOAH as well as performing at the APOLLO THEATRE, THE ARSENIO HALL AND TONIGHT SHOW. He has toured with BEBE AND CECE WINANS, B.B. KING AND REGINA BELL magnificently replacing Peabo Bryson in the “A Whole New World ” duet. In 1995 he became the lead vocalist of TOWER OF POWER and recorded three albums including TOWER OR POWER LIVE recording such great hits as “What is Hip ” and “You’re Still a Young Man.”

John Roberts – Originally from Chicago, John aka “Lil John” is simply one of the best there is. He is a world class drummer having played with some of the most influential fusion greats ever including GEORGE DUKE and STANLEY CLARKE. He has also toured and recorded with Pop stars like JANET JACKSON, NORAH JONES,JOSS STONE and SHEILA E. having spent several years working in Los Angeles. He now calls Atlanta, GA home.

Daryl Smith – Daryl is a multi-talented keyboardist/writer/producer having performed as musical director for such greats as STEVIE NICKS, K.D. LANG and JANET JACKSON. He has also toured and or recorded with FLEETWOOD MAC, BETTE MIDLER and PAULA ABDUL. In addition he has written and produced for Jazz artist BONEY JAMES scoring the #1 Jazz sales album of 2002.

Sam Simms – Bassist for the Celebrity All Stars is a long time music industry veteran having roued or recorded with JANET JACKSON, MARIAH CAREY, K.D. LANG, QUINCY JONES, PAUL ABDUL, BACK STREET BOYS ,SHEENA EASTON, JEFFERY OSBOURNE as well as jazz legends like THE CRUSADERS and STANLEY CLARKE. His television appearances include the TONIGHT SHOW with JAY LENO, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, DAVID LETTERMAN, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, SOUL TRAIN, THE ROSIE O’DONNELL SHOW and the ARSENIO HALL SHOW. Sam originally hails from Chattanooga, TN but when not on tour he calls Atlanta, Georgia home.

Kim Fleming – A classically trained vocalist from Nashville who thought she was destined to be an opera singer but did go on to become one of the most sought after vocalists in the pop music biz. She has toured and or recorded with some of the biggest stars in the music industry. Kim’s credits are as diverse as they are numerous and include, STEVIE WONDER, TONY BENNET, KEITH RICHARDS, GEORGE HARRISON, WILLIE NELSON, BETTE MIDLER, WYNONNA JUDD, MICHAEL BOLTON, GARTH BROOKS, VINCE GILL and BILLY JOEL. Cindy Shelton – A firm believer in Patsy Cline’s saying, “Girl, ya got to run y’own life”, Cindy is a North Carolina native, but moved to Nashville and worked at Opryland USA at a very young age. She later had a rock band called JADE but failed to get a major record deal, so the band disbanded. Moving into the corporate scene, she has been on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO, GRAND OL OPRY, CMA AWARDS, THE RYAN SEACREST SHOW, etc. She has toured or recorded with ALABAMA, LORRIE MORGAN, LEE ANN WOMACK and SARA EVANS. Williamson’s family moved from Memphis to Chicago in 1968 when he was in junior high because of his father’s relocation to another church.  Memphis is where Williamson’s musical roots were formed, but Chicago is where they flourished.  Because Williamson’s home was attached to the church in Chicago, he would sneak into the church to play the piano and organ.  And he never stopped playing.

Williamson went to a high school that specialized in the arts,  studied at The American Conservatory of Music, and earned a BA in English at Northern Illinois University, where he also studied piano and played the drums and saxophone.

“I have been blessed with the opportunities I’ve had to pursue what I love to do, and to do it with my family, not on the road,” Williamson said.  Cordova (Memphis)-based Williamson has been one of the area’s top session piano players since 1980.  He has had the opportunity to tour, perform or record with such artists as Santana, Chick Corea, Al Green, BB King, Albert Collins, Kirk Whalum, Isaac Hayes, and many others.  He has also written music for EMI Music, Warner/Chapel Music Group and Polygram Music.

One of his most exciting accomplishments was winning a BMI Award for the international hit, “Come In Out of the Rain” in 1984 with his friend Nyko Lyros.  Currently, Williamson plays with the band Memphis Soul Revue, which is the top regional show band in Memphis, and is the Musical Director for RAM Entertainment.

Williamson and his wife, Yolanda, have lived in Cordova for 15 years.  The couple have been married for 29 years.  “Yolanda is my rock,” Williamson said.  “Had a few chances to go on the road to pursue life in the fast lane, but my family saved me.”  Yolanda, an educator with the Memphis City Schools for more than 20 years, describes her husband as a “family-oriented person who is spiritually grounded and able to prioritize – and a guy who just happens to play music.”

“When I play I feel free – only other musicians or artists seem to understand,” he said.  “We are a different kind of people.”

Linville Ridge Country Club Event
We couldn’t have been happier with “Risses” performance. Jaisun touched base with us weeks in advance to confirm arrangements. The entire band was very friendly and professional. They were the first band in a long time that new how to control the volume during dinner service so our members could carry on a conversation. This band was very in tune to the surroundings. The music was excellent and the whole band was energetic and could easily switch from one style of music to another as they read the crowd. Jaisun knows how to work the crowd and get everyone on their feet. The guys were all in tune too. Our staff loved every minute too.
All in all, we would love to have “Risse” come rock this house any time. As soon as I get a date for the member guest tournament for 2009, we would love to reserve
“Risse” for next year. It was great to see people who you would never have thought would even dance, stay all night and enjoy themselves.

Everything went fantastic on the wedding day from start to finish! I was very impressed with the Risse band – they rocked the house! I had people coming up to me all night saying how great they were (and still). Jaisun and the crew were fabulous. They were professional, did the intros as requested, read the crowd well and really kept the dance floor jumping. Even got a reluctant group of guys up out of their seats and on the dance floor where they entertained the crowd. That was worth the money right there! Great group of musicians for sure. JR, I received numerous compliments on the band Sleeping Booty from our company party this past Saturday night. When they hit the stage in their sequins of red and Santa outfits it was ON. The energy, stage presentation and holiday attire were all electric! Having a ten member band with the vocal depth and stage presence that Sleeping Beauty has is priceless. We really appreciated the interjections of the band mentioning Stevenson and Hondas throughout the show. Lake Tahoma Weekend Show
Ellie!!! We could not have asked for a more perfect band!! LaMonte and the band were wonderful!! Under the conditions that they had ( ie heat, rain, and a few of the guests “stalking” the female singers) the Reality Show Band performed a super show sounding as good, if not better than the originals! You and RSB actually made me look good because everyone kept telling me that they were hands down the best band we have ever had at our Lake Tahoma Weekend! Ellie, Thank you for all of your help!! I know that we were not an easy group to work with considering our budget and time constraints!! The event was a resounding success thanks in great part to the performance by Terry Lee & the G.T.’s. The band had a vast selection of music, pleasing to all musical tastes. The students, as well as faculty/staff in attendance received the band enthusiastically. Terry Evans and the band members arrived at the location exactly as scheduled and were very fun to work with. Their appearance, stage presence, and instrumentation were phenomenal.

Absolutely we will use Trademark again!!! I have been in this position for 15 years and planned a lot of events. I have never had one where there was people dancing the entire night. With the last band we had, there would be whole songs that no one danced and the same story with a couple of DJs. With Trademark, our colleagues were dancing during dinner and the dance floor stayed full right up to the end. I have heard over and over again about how much everyone enjoyed the band and wished they had played longer.
Trademark was very professional and I honestly can not say enough about them. They were W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L and helped to make our event a huge success! If they need a referral, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. If you can not guess, I was extremely satisfied.

Hi James and the rest of Trademark! I just wanted to thank you all immensely for the absolutely amazing job that you all did at Joe and I’s wedding on April 25th!!!! You all were on fire and have amazing talent! Everyone had an absolute blast and are still talking about the band. We loved how you got everyone so involved and had the whole party just rocking! All of our guests (including Joe) thought that me and the girls had rehearsed Stop in the Name of Love…everyone loved it!!! Our photographers said that they’ve never seen such a party (and they mostly photograph weddings!). The photographers said that they turned around and at least 175 people were packed onto the dance floor getting low and everyone had a smile on their face and were having the time of their life! When you all stopped playing everyone said that they could have kept on dancing for 5 more hours! Seriously, you all were PHENOMONAL!! I will recommend you again and again to friends in the area that are getting married. We so much appreciate the fabulous job that you all did and hope that you all had fun as well. We had an absolute blast and will always remember the evening for the fantastic entertainment! Thank you so much again!

Social Gala
Thank you for asking! We thoroughly enjoyed having MVP perform at the 2012 Bay Heart Ball! They played a soft jazz dinner set for us, then played a high energy post presentation dance set that everyone loved! The crowd stayed and the Chairs of the event loved the band. I would highly recommend them since they were so entertaining and also great to work with. They rolled with our timeline changes without any problems, which was very much appreciated. I will be passing along their information to some of our other offices so they can perhaps use them in the future. Thanks again!

Adult Dance Social Club
They were somewhat higher that our usual budget, but following dance and since, everyone I raves about the band, saying it was AWESOME, best band ever, what excellent vocalists they had, very versatile, etc., so hopefully, that means it was worth it! (You always have to trade off something else, which either means food or alcohol.) Torrance was easy to work with and the other band members also were personable and pleasant! Several people got their cards and others have asked where we found them. I certainly would recommend them, and I suspect we will want them again.

Greetings from Puerto Rico! I’m on my honeymoon but wanted to take a minute to let you know how awesome MVP was this past weekend performing at my wedding. They were about as professional as they come and sang all of the songs I had mentioned our guests would like. Towards the end of the night they read the crowd really well and made sure everyone was active on the dance floor. Almost every guest commented on how great the band was. After this performance and the way in which Torrance and crew involved everyone in the celebration, I will definitely be recommending MVP to anyone looking for a great, active party band that sounds amazing and can play anything.
